I enjoy more of the stretching poses because this is usually what I use yoga for: to balance out my body from field hockey. I am not too flexible, so some of the more challenging poses I can not yet do, however, Robin always give great options to choose. My favorite part of yoga is walking away from the hour feeling refreshed, relaxed, and stretched out. I think the atmosphere Robin creates helps with this feeling a lot. - UM Women's Field Hockey Player

Yoga Rising Comes to You

Yoga for Athletes

Practice and performance on the field or court places high demands on all athletes. Incorporating yoga into a training program, regardless of the training phase, offers a way for athletes to enhance performance. Yoga can increase total body fitness and flexibility, prevent injuries, and aid recovery.

Yoga in the Workplace

Yoga can be an important benefit for employees and organizations, for a wide variety of reasons. Classes are tailored to the workplace environment, whether work involves repetitive motions or sitting all day, and it adds a team building component as well.

Known Benefits of Yoga in the workplace:

  • Stress reduction
  • Improved mindset
  • Increased productivity and efficiency.
  • Decreased absenteeism.
  • Decreased disability claims and other drains on payroll.

I offer yoga sessions at your workplace or training facility for groups of up to 25. Sessions include some materials (participants only need to bring a mat & water bottle).  I tailor all classes to the experience level and goals of the group.
